What Is A Periodontist?
A periodontist is a dentist who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease and in the placement and maintenance of dental implants. Periodontists are experts in the treatment of all forms of periodontal disease, including gingivitis and periodontitis, and gingival recession.
The American Dental Association recognizes periodontics as one of the nine specialties of dentistry. Periodontists receive extensive training, including three years of additional education beyond dental school.
By choosing a specialist you will benefit from the latest procedures for treating periodontal disease and placing dental implants tailored to your needs. In addition, Dr. Noraian can perform cosmetic periodontal procedures to help you achieve the smile you desire.

Our Commitment to Your Health
At the practice of Dr. Noraian, we strive to make your visits comfortable and pleasant. Your well-being is important to all of us as we recognize the mouth is not disconnected from the rest of the body. We focus on treating you the way we would like to be treated or how we would treat our family members.
Dr. Noraian recognizes that you have a choice in selecting a periodontist and he will work closely with your referring dentist to ensure that he or she knows where you are with your treatment. Even though Dr. Noraian is a specialist, he does not require a referral from a dentist for you to visit his office. If you have a referral, he will be happy to work with your referring dentist or other health care provider. If you do not have a dental care team in place, we can help you put one together.
Our Greatest Compliment
Our greatest compliment comes from receiving referrals from patients and friends of the practice as well as our medical and dental colleagues. Our staff is caring, dedicated, and professional. Our mission is to help patients meet their treatment objectives with the latest in proven periodontal and dental implant therapies. We offer financing options and use electronic filing to help expedite processing of insurance claims as we work with many different insurance carriers.
Our Best Patients are Educated Patients
From your initial consultation and throughout your treatment, we do our best to educate you about your treatment options and we encourage you to ask questions about your care. We focus on treating people. As a hospital-trained dentist in addition to being a periodontist, Dr. Noraian understands that there is an important connection between a healthy mouth and a healthy body.
