New Advancements in Dental Care for People with Diabetes
- Tuesday, June 4, 2013 – 7 pm – 8 pm
- Dr. Noraian will be providing this program free for the OSF St. James Diabetes Support Group. Dr. Noraian is well-known as a leader in dental care, providing laser periodontics and dental implants. People with diabetes are at high risk for periodontal (gum) disease, which is an infectious disease that affects the supporting structures of the teeth. Left untreated, periodontal disease causes premature tooth loss. Dr. Noraian is certified to offer the FDA-approved Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP), for which he also is a certified instructor. Pre-registration is not required.
